We’ve all heard it before, but sometimes you have to stop and smell the flowers. Clichés are clichés for a reason, there are things that we just need to hear more than once.

Somethings in life you have to do alone. Some things you’ll choose to do alone. But, when you have the opportunity to share life experiences with people that you love and care about they are all the more richer and enjoyable. Having my brother with me this week is proving to be one of those opportunities. He and I haven’t lived in the same state for the past 40 years until just recently when he and his wife moved to Atlanta to be close to his grandchildren and we’ve certainly never had a week with this much time together. I’m glad he chose to invest the time and money to come spend this week with me.
