Day 18 almost Lewistown to past Winnett

I had a rest day yesterday and caught up on four blog posts. The legs felt fresher today after the rest but, it was a cold rainy day with the temperature never above 51. It rained all day but I never got wet. It was a light rain so, there was never standing water on the road so, my feet stayed dry which was a good thing given the temperature. At the end of day Marian picked me up and we drove back to Lewistown.

Quick story I’ve been meaning to tell you, guard rails when they expand as they warm up with the day make very strange sounds. Everywhere from wild animal sounds to a blaster from Star Wars. They really get your attention when you’re riding along in solitude.
